When our friends Kyrsten and Matt were dreaming of a low-key babymoon and threw out the idea that we should tag along, we jumped. Any couple that considers time with another couple and their 18-month-old as an ideal relaxing vacation are complete saints. Or crazy...but I'm voting the former.

We rented a small beachfront apartment together outside Galveston and spent our days sitting in the sand, wading in the pool and putting Matt to work as our resident bartender. Oh, and we squeezed in a dreamy beach maternity shoot while we were at it :)

People like Kyrsten and Matt make my job fun because they're all about bare feet and relaxed days and we were easily able to capture that. With the sun setting, wind blowing, all of us barefoot and families playing in the sand all around us, it was needless to say a pretty ideal evening. These people have my heart and are going to be the most amazing parents. So so happy for you two, Kyrsten & Matt!
